Class C IP help!!! I am confused

Hi guys,

So im googling, i cant seem to laser focus on the answer..

So which one here is the class C IP address to determine domain is hosted on different server?

A. 111.222.333.4
B. 111.222.323.4
or
C. 111.222.433.4
D. 111.222.123.4

So which of the above are on same CLASS-C? and which are on Different Class-C?

What about the domains below? are they all on different CLASS-C IP?

the 333 and 323 parts in the IP are the class C.

111 is class A
222 is class B
333 is class C
323 is also class C
and 4 is class D

So, as long as your backlinks come from sites that have different C classes google will count those backlinks as coming from different RDs, which is good. It doesn't matter if the classes A and B are the same, the class C sections is what matters.

And the same goes for hosting sites. If you have 50 sites and they are all hosted on 50 different classes C (like 333, 323, 301, 355, 382, etc) then they are considered coming from different IPs despite of the fact that they are actually all hosted on the same class A and B IPs.

Why it happens like this, or why this is considered good by google, I haven't got a clue, so don't ask me ... But I know that this is how it works...

Also, different IPs for different domains are best in the eyes of Google!

They are hosted on different IP addresses. There is also less chance of leaving footprints!
