Hi was about to chuck up a PLR sales page and when I read it I says "my blog had generated over $1,700 in a single evening". Now this being a PLR sales page and me never using the method am I aloud to say that on my sales page?

I don't really care about ethics just legal. And If I am aloud will need a legal disclaimer?

What if I broke it down into a squeeze page, would anything change legally?

not illegal though, but to most you just sound like a douche and a bullshitter. imo. but many believe what they read.

Wouldn't this fall under something like 'gain from deception'?

    On the other note,
read ftc regulations, it`s all written there.

Basically what`s valid for flogs, valid for this.

Therefore, this is illegal, and there is a fine for it.
    Likely? No.
Because you won`t have any real volume for anyone to give interest.

    01. Use a disclaimer, the kind on the bottom of all other PLR sales pages.

    02. Frame the claim in a different manner like :

"What would you do if I told you that I made $xxxxx in a month and that you could too?"

You never claimed to make that much, you are just asking them what they would do...

Never make a claim. Just get them to IMAGINE what you want them to think.

umm, according to the new stance by FTC it would qualify as 'gain from deception'
this can apply to earnings, end result (losing weight, growing hair). you can play smart
and add disclaimers that may protect you up to certain extent or simply cover your ass by registering everything under fake names.

however, saying it cannot be checked is not true. if you're unlucky enough to open the wrong can of worms (IRS) they can come after you. it's unlikely this will happen with a small blackhat campaign but never do shit like that with track-able business.

    Here
FTC just updated their guidelines recently regarding disclaimers and what should be in them ... you can check out the thread I posted the other day on it, there's a link to a good article which will tell you what to use - probably should have posted that thread in this section but anyhow - here it is:
