CJ Link Question, Which one to use?

Question on which link to use in CJ.

Yesterday I used the destination landing page link directly but I think it was a mistake because it was not recorded in my stats, which means I gave free advertisement to the advertiser.

I hope you can help me out here. I am attaching screenshots here for further clarification.

In the first picture you see "View Destination Page", I right clicked that and used the link I got to promote.

In Picture 2 you see the "Get HTML" button, Once clicked I got the links as shown in picture 3, Should I have used the first link in picture 3?

Remember, when first link in picture 3 is used, it leads to the exact same link as the "view destination page" link.

Do you think thats the mistake I made ? Does it matter which one we use? Also can I directly promote the link in picture 3 or should it be embedded in website?

Your advice is greatly appreciated.

I thought that you were supposed to use the first link in image 3. Someone correct me if I am wrong...

You're supposed to use the whole thing.

One part of the code (the one with a href = ) is the link to the advertiser . . . the other part (with img src) loads an image.

If you're only redirecting, then use the part with a href
