CJ Experts, I need your help! Sales not tracking properly?

So today a friend bought through my link, and Commission Junction captured his clicks and everything; however, I have yet to get any credit for the sales page.

The purchase was about 8 hours ago, and there is still nothing on the commission/sales page.

I'm afraid that the reason why it didn't track was because I edited some of the text in the html that they gave me - not the texts in the links, but the text that the visitor sees.

I called up CJ and they said something about the publisher just recently updating their system so it's batchposting might be delayed? What's that about.

I they batch post they might only do this once a month, but it could be as often as daily. I'd hold out for a little while and see what happens.
If there is still nothing showing at the end of the month, take it up with Commission Junction as they will often track the sale themselves. The only reason the publisher batches the transactions is to account for reversals and refunds etc, but as I say CJ should have a record of the initial sale.

i guess have the same issue, anyone out there?

For me, the sales don't show up until the following business day.
