How effective is churn and burn on smaller niches?

Lets's say I have 10 squidoo lens' in different niches (10,000 searches each)

Would mass spamming them help rank them quickly?

The only reason I say Squidoo is because you often see them at the top of the serps

Good question. Personally, I think it will work for a lot longer than with regular sites as they're backed up by strong domains. But I'm waiting as well on an answer from someone who's experienced in this strategy :)

I haven't seen Squidoo results ranking high since 2012. In principle, spamming a lens with backlinks might help for a short while. Your time would be better spent ranking a free .wordpress or .blogspot blog, though.

Sites like wikihow.com rank much better than Squidoo.

Squidoo doesn't rank that well friend. Web 2.0 would be my 1st choice for these purpose.

I'd rather pick a blogger domain for such a site. They used to rank quite quickly, not sure if it's still the case.

It would be nice to see what people are using nowadays.

I'm using .wordpress.com and .blog.com websites as buffer and they're ranking higher than my money site.. :)

Hehe, it's a well known problem I guess. Wordpress subdomains do also rank well indeed.
