    Hi BHW,

I have no experience in setting up churn & burn sites, but am considering giving it a go for a smash & grab project.

I have a couple of questions:

-How HQ do you have to make the site? Does it have to look & feel 'real'? Eg how many pages, how much unique content?

-Do you have to lay a foundation of diversified links first - before going all out on SAPE links etc?

-Any tips for creating a 'longer' ranking experience? Eg worth using buffer sites?

-Any watchouts that should be considered when doing this? (apart from making sure there is no footprint to your other projects).

-Any experience of BST's here to do the job? Apart from SAPE & 301 redirects?

    Thanks all, really appreciate it.

    - You want to make it HQ because you're still trying to convert your audience, right?
    - Yes, churn and burn spamming sites also require diverse anchor text to rank (besides some parasites). Link velocity is also important for fresh domains.

Yes, HQ from a conversion perspective, but in the eyes of G - does it matter for a C&B site?

Regarding link velocity, how much / quickly are we talking? Also, does C&B work better on a fresh site then?

The thing i do is i create big C&B sites on a high TF domain, where i have a site of 100/150 post with translated (Dutch to English) all aiming at longtails in my niche, it seems that these sites stay up for a long time (my oldest site is ranking from February), i have no buffers but i do two things, first i build them in a silo structure and then i have GSA link to all the innerpages instead of the mainpage. And then i use a wpcloaker plugin to redirect the traffic to my lead gen page or directly to the affiliate program of my ticket niche.

Works like a charm, i wish i could give out more details but i don't want this to be saturated, but if you build bigger sites on a older high TF domain you have more change of staing in the SERPS even if you throw a 1000 links at it.... :))

    Thanks for the thoughts.

So the recommendation of A) investing a little time/money into a decent domain B) have large amount of content = interesting points.

Linkbuiding, do you just spam heavy? Any areas i should read into?

I use simple tiered link spamming with GSA, i have a good readable article where i only spin the first and the last paragraph, both paragraphs are around 150 words the article itself is about 750, yes you will get dup content but i don't belief in dup content penalties (none of test ever shown any proof of that, also i am blackhatting :) ) and the stickiness of your links is about 25/30 greater cus your shit doesn't get deleted by webmasters your spamming.

I do tier one (in GSA) first then i wait a week, verify the backlinks, and then i do tier two not before that, because often your articles will have to go true some kind of moderation and if you backlink right away you will be missing a lot of links, after a month i spam tier one again and then leave it at that, i support my sites with sapes, comments and of course the good old web2.0

    Thank you mate, insightful.

Is your dupe content in English or 'local' language? Wonder if that matters for G.

I do only English right now i will do Dutch sites soon, as that is way more easy to rank.
