This is a 90k search keyword that I want to churn and burn. I have hear that there is now a waiting period for this churn and burn tactic. I have never used it before - only greyhat methods to rank my monesite. Now that I am pretty much happy with its position I decided to try out a churn and burn tactic.
How many pages should I build on this churn and burn website? Is it possible to outrank Wikipedia with 700+ links for this keyword? Most news stories also outrank it easily. The question is - is it worth it to rank this keyword or should I carry on with my kw research?

Majestic only analizes a few backlinks for free

I would try removing wikipedia links that wiki page is getting . Should be good for 15-20 days depending on the moderation frequency.

If you like, send me the keyword and I can do some deep analysis on it for you. But don't if you want to keep the keyword secret.

But back to the point, it IS possible to out rank anything.. its just a case of how you can make Google think you are more important. I suggest that you have 2 options:

PROPER churn and burn it, but the website may not last

    OR

JUST do high quality links, like veyr high quality, nothing crappy.

90K monthly searches is too competitive. It takes months to reach the top of Google for a 10K monthly searches keyword, talk more of a 90K monthly searches keyword. Look for lower volume keywords within the same niche that you won't be competing against WikiPedia for.

That said, it's possible to outrank WikiPedia if you have the determination and can put in the effort required. Patience and a lot of high quality links would also be imperative to achieve your goal.
