Today by mistake i deleted some important data which i needed and tried recovering it. Installed Fresh Installation of XP and Installed Data recovery software, Installed Chrome and started data recovery.

I kept the software minimized and started reading news on some indian website using Chrome Browser and i got this. See this picture

Google started showing Data Recovery ads on a website .
There are no other windows being kept open as you can see in the screenshot i m only running Chrome and Data recovery software. Tried opening the same webpage using Mozilla and Internet explorer and ads were completely different even after refreshing those pages several times.

So How many of you think Google chrome is the best browser till date. I would say Google chrome is the best spying agent.

    It is called Behavioral Advertising.

It has been around for a while and it is not primarily related to Chrome.

It is related to cookies and the types of sites that you visit.

Chrome is by far the best. Firefox is falling behind and they're desperately trying to catch up leaving security holes and just sloppy mistakes along the way. Stick with Chrome.

Haven't you guys heard? Google's new privacy TOS is fucked.

Be prepared to be auto-reported to the Feds if your doing anything illegal.

EDIT: It's like Apples iCloud, but I guess everything you're doing (Searching, Emails, etc.) is saved into storage space in your GMail/Google+ Accounts.

I heard the same thing. As a matter of fact, I saw it on TV on a news report.
If you're logged in to gmail or any other Google account, Google tracks
everywhere you go online. That's how they're able to display targeted ads
in your browser. Those sneaky bastards.

Actually, Google records your web history. If you want to turn off your web history, all you have to do is visit: google.com/history

Delete history and turn off your web history.
    Just a little FYI.

If you are using the Search Engine Ranker from GSA just buy it, it will make you your money back if you know how to use it.

This is just like gmail reading your email and serving ads based on that. what about google desktop? I think the new tos will cover googles bases for all the shady shit they're already doing and open the door for some massive privacy intrusions. Cc cameras are nothing when big brother knows EVERYTHING about you, including what kind of porn you like best lol.

I think Chrome is the best. I've tried other browsers and they were so slow compared to chrome. As for spyware, are you sure you haven't done any related searches prior to getting the ad?
