What are some popular chrome extensions people are using?

I use the ABP, evernote, seoquake and kapersky.

What about you guys? I am looking for extensions that either help with SEO or productivity

I ditched firefox a couple of months ago because it had a severe memory leak and if i let the computer running for weeks eventually firefox was using a gig of memory. On firefox I also used noscript and https everywhere.

I dont like the chrome versions of them

Only 1 gig :D ... That's probably because you have only 2 gigs of memory in your computer because it's using a lot more than that here. Almost 4 gigs... it's ridiculous.

They should be better to stop pushing updates all the times and start working on the reel problems..

About Chrome, i seen that extensions are getting more and more populars but i'm not using Chrome at all yet, except for testing but it's pretty nice.

    I should switch soon.

Migrating sucked but I couldnt handle the shitty performance anymore. I originally migrated from IE to FF because back in the day firefox crushed it (better then opera which was the only real alternative).

As with all migrations once you get use to the new software it becomes second nature. The performance differences are not even comparable. Chrome wins hands down. Also Google has way more money for development then Mozilla does. Chrome actually surpassed them as the #2 browser. FF days, much like RIM's, are numbered.

The extensions seem to work differently in chrome, but not as well.

They work for me. I use evernote and seoquake the most. I was wondering what other people use but so far this thread has failed at accomplishing that task lmao

I use a few - half are web design, the other half are SEO related:

Firebug - think I have Firebug Lite installed - but its great for any web development design you might be doing. Chrome comes with a developer tool as well, but I was used to the layout of Firebug and so installed it again.

SEO for Chrome - a pretty simple tool that gives you some nice basic stats on a websites your browsing. I use it mainly for the feature where it will highlight no-follow links. Saves a lot of time looking through page source. Also shows pagerank, backlinks, who-is info, a whole ton of stuff.

YSlow - I use it to test the page speed of sites I own and make sure the sites are optimized to the bone. I'd say this is a 50% dev tool and 50% SEO tool - I take site speed into consideration when SEOing sites.

MozBar - A plugin from SEOMoz - gives you a real quick look at how well optmized a site it - it pulls in h1, h2 tags, meta tags, title tags, etc. Also includes some SEOMoz based ranking statistics (mozRank, mozTrust) which I find useful as Pagerank is pretty much useless at this point.

PageRank - Despite my last sentence (Pagerank is useless hah) this is a nice quick pagerank checker as SEO for Chrome sometimes fails to pull in the proper pagerank.

    Boom!

    That's what I use!

I can never get the SEO quake bar to actually appear in the browser as it does in Firefox. Is there anything simple i'm missing to get it to do this.

EDIT - sorted, as soon as i post something about it it starts working. That's how these things work.
