So I'm choosing a domain name for a niche I'm going to be promoting. I'm a newbie here and his will be my first step into the IM wilderness :)

My keyword is two words and the commercial domain is taken for those two words alone, there is however a commercial domain available with a preceding related word or my keywords with an extension that's related to the niche and I don't know which to pick. Some people say commercial is king and some people say they rank their new gTLDs no problem and others say those new gTLDs wont last and put people off.

    Example for clarity:

    example keyword: fastcar
    example domain choices:
    • fastcar.road
    • roadfastcar (commercial)

    What do you guys think?

Note also that the non commercial extension is $34.99 where as the commercial I can get for $0.99

I would prefer commercial,if its available ,over any other extensions.with that said, gTLDs are not useless, for native ranking they are similarly useful as .coms.Hope this helps.
