Choosing a direction

Mkay..so here I am again posting my stupid newbie questions. I've been around this site for a long time and read quite a lot of articles. I wanted to start somewhere low so I went to associated content and submited two high quality articles(took me some time to write them) 500 words each but their status is submitted and they didn't pay 1 cent till' now(it's been more than 24 hours). Am I missing something?

Also, I know that this should be posted in the freelance jobs section but is there any chance to get 3-4$/article selling them to someone in this forum? I mean very good quality articles like the ones at NoDoubtMarketing or better(I am a literature university student and I have someone to revise grammar and spelling).

The one for Associated Content are about healthy nutrition and the status of the woman in society. Do you suggest something specific that I could write about for AC?

Is the one about nutrition tied in to 'weight loss'? That is always a big seller with women.

Yes I know it is and mainly focuses on diets and preventing the weight gain..
