Over the last 6 months i've tried quite a few metrics to try to ascertain domain viability.
And the results?
PageRank was the best predictor of domain traffic.
But still, not the "end all be all".
I've perused all of the following tools and have done my own minor experiments. And basically I found that the ability of these tools to predict if a domain would or would not succeed was about as good as a coin toss.
But I could be wrong.
Has anyone had better luck with these than me? Has one particular metric "stuck out for you" as a good indicator of domain fitness?
Thanks!
