    Nothing unusual about politicians abusing their position for their own gain. Or to sweep things under the carpet.

    If you really want a good laugh get your self a copy of: Yes Minister and Yes Prime Minister.

    The writers of that classic British comedy got some of their plot lines directly from people high up in the UK government of the 70's.

    I find it funny that people spend large amounts of money and 3 to 4 years of their lives studying politics at university. When the DVD's of Yes Minister and Yes Prime Minister cost less than $100 for an unrivalled and unparalleled education about the real world of politics and how Governments work.
