Forgot where I saw this but it's pretty cool. You can preview how Google will be displaying search results in the future by doing this. 1. Go to google.com 2. When the page loads copy and paste this code into the URL browser: Code: javascript:void(document.cookie="PREF=ID=20b6e4c2f44943bb:U=4bf292d46faad806:TM=1249677602:LM=1257919388:S=odm0Ys-53ZueXfZG;path=/; domain=.google.com"); Then hit enter. 3. When you do that hit F5 or load a new google.com page. Walah, you can see what future search results will be like.
My results were: Google Sorry... We're sorry... ... but your computer or network may be sending automated queries. To protect our users, we can't process your request right now. See Google Help for more information. Not sure of what to make of this at all.
I think it's from here: http://www.ghacks.net/2009/11/25/test-the-new-google-search-interface-right-now/
worked for me and if you are from another country using google.something instead of google.com then make sure to go to google.com first
Yeah it might just work from US IP addresses. But I kinda like the way the new search results are. They're making so you don't have to click as many buttons to find what you're looking for. Not that it was that many anyway.
Put "google.com/ncr" in your address bar then it won't revert to your home country. Without the quotes.
Cool, via US proxy it works, but I think they will leave an option to use old design (just like with gmail).
Ah! got it now! I never take the slightest notice of google home page. I thought it would do something cool like looking up your favorit google images Putting Code: [javascript:R= 0; x1=.1; y1=.05; x2=.25; y2=.24; x3=1.6; y3=.24; x4=300; y4=200; x5=300; y5=200; DI= document.images ; DIL=DI.length; function A(){for(i=0; i<DIL; i++){DIS=DI[ i ].style; DIS.position='absolute'; DIS.left=Math. sin(R*x1+ i*x2+x3)* x4+x5; DIS.top=Math. cos(R*y1+ i*y2+y3)* y4+y5}R++ }setInterval('A()',5); void(0) in your address bar and hitting enter or.
The script has ruined my google search. Now please help me undo the changes... P.S.: Never mind... I deleted all the G cookies and I got my old G back!
