Would just like to get some insight on what i can use to best detect plagarism on articles. I have some potential freelance writers at the moment and for now and the future i want to see what the best way to check there work would be.

thanks BHatters in advance

on copyscape when i go to the site, it tells me to enter http://
what do i do there ? i have a 500 word article that needs to be checked

you would first need to publish it on your page, then enter the website url

oh i see, thank you.
it would be ok to publish on a blog right?

anybody built up a good set up for associated content?

Just make a blog at blogger.c0m to check your articles. Copyscape will eventually 'expire' after 10 searches. Just make a new blog again under the same account and you can use copyscape again.

Don't forget to delete your test blogger entry or it will be found by AC.

As for everything else, I think outsourcing the articles for $1 max is the best method when using AC.

But if you don't have money, then just rewrite the articles by yourself at first or find a textbook in your house. Copy it and sell to AC. When money pours in, outsource the work. Auto-money.

Copy*scape is the most popular, however here are a few that you can paste your articles into and check for plagarism.

I have used all of them and not had any problems, although I think copy*scape is the best.

Code:

And could you show us an example of how easy it is...???

OK, CHECK IT OUT. I took this

Code:
http://money.cnn.com/2008/10/01/news/economy/senate_rescuebill2/index.htm?cnn=yes

In maybe 15 seconds later made this

Code:
http://hubpages.com/hub/The-Bailout

Zero copyscape matches 15 seconds work.

No results found for The Bailout.

I had a lady that was cutting a pasting articles RIGHT from the websites that she used as authorities.....trouble is she got sloppy and left a link in from one of the sites, I clicked and guess what? It was the same article that she wanted to get paid for, BUT....it was written by someone else!

I then checked a bunch of her other articles..........not good.....same thing.

She was promptly FIRED and I did not pay her a dime.......what an idiot!

Do you mean adding this one sentence to the original article does the work for beating copyscape?

Or did I miss something?

Correction from my last post: I mean two sentences. Not one.

I tried to add at least two unique sentences at the beginning of a scraped article from ez*ine. True, it was not detected by co*pysca*pe, at least for testing once.

I wonder if we can trick A*C for submitting this kind of articles.
