Following the recent changes in serps (past 4 months), im looking into evaluating all backlinks created to our websites.

How would you go about checking thousands of websites for 'toxicity'?

Ultimately, I want to check if the domains are de-indexed or have high spam features, like crazy OBL, but more about other serious issues like being hit by G.
We already check some stats with different API's including moz for spam score which is quite BS.

Bonus question - with these toxic links, would you remove them at once if you had the option, or use the disavow tool?

    Appreciate the BH community :)
Will report on progress as well.

I think you can use link detox/moz to check spam links and use google webmaster to disavow links

Of course, like i mentioned.. but this is not a way to check hundreds of them in bulk. Also, seeing which are actually de-indexed.

There is no need anymore to disawov bad backlinks, with last penguin google is ignoring such links and that's it. The only reason for disawoving should be a risk from manual penalty (after manual check of G employee). If you really want to improve performance of these sites rather spend time in On-Page improvements (speed, engagement, content quality).

We already work on on-page improvements which didn't always shoe great results from latest updates.
We can remove backlinks ourselves, that is why we want to analyze all of them in bulk.

Any BH superstar with an idea of checking de-indexd, spammed sites in bulk?
