I am in a position where I want to get a totally separate phone # that I can use for a particular job.

I am thinking adding a line to my sprint plan ($42.50 per month) or metro pcs (40.00).

I was thinking can I use a DID # and forward that to my cell.

Trying to figure out how to do this the cheapest. Also I don't want 2 cell phone I have a blackberry curve and would prefer to just use that.

However there is a point we are giving this phone # out to a TON of people and when the campaign is over we can turn off the # and I dont have a million people with my personal cell phone #.

    Thanks

do an add a line, depending on what kind of plan you have, i work for verizon wireless, our add a line programs are just 9.99 a month, and you can get a free phone along with that, to your existing plan.

I'm guessing you are in the US. Why can't you use a prepaid phone and forward that? Tracphone? Free shipping atm

I need a cell phone for 12 months only. I would prefer not to carry around 2 cell phones.

The goal is to do this as cheap as possible.

Can I rent a DID # or something andhave that forwarded to my cell phone.

I am sprint and add a line is a 2 year contract.

The goal is as cheap as possible.

So I can get a brand new phone # with my area code and then forward that to my existing cell?

I went to google voice and it said it was not out yet and by invite only. I filled out the form hoping to get an invite.
