Where can I buy the cheapest SSL certificate which is fully compatible to the major browsers?

In the past I've used GoDaddy, but after I heared the elephant thing of the CEO I don't want support this company. Laught about this, but I think even as BH it's important to have some moral...

So where can I find a valid (not self signed) SSL certificate < 39$?

Namecheap... When you order a new domain, you can buy a "Comodo PositiveSSL SSL Certificate" for $1.99

Thanks :) I totally overvied them.. It's not a new domain, its an existing one. But they cost 8-25$, but thats cheaper and NOT GoDaddy.

Take a look at greensslcertificates.com.

Thanks too, but my FF 4 displays a warning. Not the best point to start for a valid SSL cert if you ask me ;)

Buy a $2.99 info domain, then add the ssl on for $1.99 = $5.00. (SSL doesn't have to be used for the domain you purchased).

Not sure if you can use an ssl cert on a diff providers domain, but you can always ask the support.

Also, you can't compare prices to godaddy if you don't want to go with them.
