I am looking for the cheapest way to set up 10 x .co.uk websites.

I have no website building skills and in the past have used paid web developers or used some website builders tools from hosts. Ideally the lay our will be exactly the same just different domains and content. Each websites only needs to be about 5 pages.

Anyone any ideas and rough costs??

    On top of the world!
Read a tutorial on how to install wordpress. It is very easy from your hosting control panel with the 1 click install scripts and is your best bet to set up a bunch of websites by yourself.

most hosting providers give website builders like Wordpress, joomla and drupal and they are very very easy to set up especially wordpress since its widely used by bloggers and very user friendly

You get the hosting and I will set up wordpress on all 10 accounts for $200. You go in after that and customize them like you want.

If wordpress is OK, and you have all the content, I will build them out for $!00 each. if I get all ten.

The cheapest way would be go to fiverr.com and hire somebody for $50 (10 sites x $5, but you could probably negotiate 1 or 2 for free). I have used this guy several times to tweak Wordpress themes for me and found him to be very reliable. His username is: wordpress_seo You could negotiate to buy 9 gigs, he does one free, and then you tip him one gig ($5) if he does everything he says he'll do. He's always got it done within 24 hours before.

Or, there are programs out there you could buy that would clone a WordPress site--install one site and set it up like you want it, clone it, and then install it 9 more times. Search Google or ask around for a recommendation.

But if you're going to do it yourself,
    1) Change the DNS setting in your domain's registrar (GoDaddy, CheapNames, etc.) to your server's DNS, NS1.YOURSERVERNAME.COM, NS2.YOURSERVERNAME.COM.
    2) Do a one-click install of Wordpress through your cPanel Fantastico app.
    3) Search the web for suggestions on which plug-ins you'll need for your particular site. It all depends on what your site will be used for, but I always install plug-ins for SEO, security, cache, social button, and backup. We could spend days discussing necessary plug-ins.
    4) Unzip all of the plug ins and create a folder on your hard drive called "Must Install Plugins". Then go through each plug-in's folder and drag and drop JUST the plug in file or folder (some have a folder, some are stand alone)--not the documentation, license, etc...JUST the plug-in stuff.
    5) Download a FTP program, like FileZilla. Enter all of your site's credentials, like username, password, port, and connect to your domain. Go to wp-content>plugins. With your "Must Install Plugins" open and FileZilla underneath, drag and drop all of your plugins to FIleZilla. This will start uploading all of them to the server.
    6) Log in to your Woredpress install at yourdomain.com/wp-admin and go to Appearance>themes. Add the theme you are going to use or select one of the two pre-installed ones.
    7) Go to Plugins and activate all of the ones you uploaded.

That is a short, short version of what to do if you do it yourself. I don't think you'll find it any cheaper than on fiverr.com though if you want to pay somebody.
