1&1 is beyond trash. They are scammers. They charge credit cards even when customer asked them not to. Read it online.

1&1 is indeed trash. Bought 2 domains from them, the credit card was charged, yet the domain was not given by them.
Tried contacting support and they asked me to wait for a couple of hours. It's been 2 months. The domain still shows available. It's better to spend more money on other registrars, than giving free money to 1&1.
