Obviously, you get what you pay for and I understand that.

However, I'm interested if when starting a new website, should you consider those shitty fiverr offers that boost your DA/DR to 40+ for like $50.
Has anyone done it before and is there any value in it?

I don't have a huge budget to pay $400 per link. I could pay up $50-100 a month, so for now it's going to be reaching out for backlinks plus I believe the content I'm making is really good so it's going to pick up some organic backlinks sooner or later.

I'm also interested if it poses a potential threat to harm the website in the long run?

Appreciate your thoughts.

For my authority sites (the ones that I care about) I wouldn't buy ANY backlinks from fiverr, no matter how good the gigs sound or how amazing the seller appears. For all other sites (test sites, autoblogs, micro niche sites, etc) I would do it :)

That's what I'm thinking too.

What would you recommend I do with the budget I set for this project? Pile it up until I can buy decent links?

Let's say you have a client site then fiverr links very bad normally so on clients probably a bad idea.

Fiverr itself has range of very bad to very good.

Around 5% of the SEO services on the site good or okay the rest is mostly terrible.

For your DR plans overall I bought a few for test it seems okay but over time it's DR rating will drop of so not much good as long term system but if you just want a high DR can be good enough I bought 30Dr for like £7.99 it was pretty good overall.

For Fiverr in general poses quite a high risk to your site often since you will always get a low quality SEO person trying to sell you rubbish but if you can sort throught he list then it can exist some good examples.

One I got before was forbes.com guest post £50.00 if anyone wondering it does not exist anymore

Tech.co for £15.00.

You can find these sort of links but they rare or hard to get what you want is new seller who's never sold much before or anything they will often sell things worth like £500 for like £100 to get the sales in to start with so you could buy a okay amount of links for pretty much tiny money overall but this requires quite a lot of looking and can go anywhere from terrible to amazing so it's risky quite often.

I will pm you a cool Canadian guy which sells links super cheap I was impressed by the friendly and good services he delivers.

I got fairly decent ranking boosts of him for spending tiny money.

PM his name, too

no idea to be honest. If I had $100 for link building I'd rather create 2-3 pieces of stellar content instead of buying links. Good links are too expensive nowadays :(

Can do.

He also gives fantastic I know Canadian has the rep of being like the world nicest people he follows that idea perfect

It all depends on the niche in which you want to develop further. If you need to develop your blog, then this will not help you. Your best strategy here is to buy backlinks and increase your DR using those backlinks. If your task is, say, to sell then this site in future with a fake DR rating, or for other similar purposes, then you can buy this service and increase your DR fast.

Don't buy them.
I have done it and now I'm here to recover. :(
Google will hit you very hard even if the project is really good.

Why use Fiverr when you have the marketplace here my guy. Sure, you've got to separate the wheat from the chaff but the benefit here is if someone fucks you over you've got The Shitlist.

I bought seo services for my blog from a top seller on fiverr. He was good, and while I didn’t rank top 10 or anything, increased my rankings by 2-3 positions for low competition KWs, and got me a decent amount of organic traffic.

Just read everything on the gigs, and read the reviews. I know reviews can be bought, but when they have 1000+, they actually mean something.

Yeah, this is a legit business, but I'm looking to outrank competitors and since my site is newer it's not easy!

Thanks
One of the easiest ways to fuck up a genuine business is to try to treat Google like idiots.

Word.
They spend billions on their algorithms, and these MFs spend $100 on ‘SEO’ and think they can trick Google into making them #1.

lol. I never said I think $100 can make me #1 but asked if Fiverr services are any good for a fresh website.
I understand SEO is game that takes a while, especially using white hat methods, I'm just wondering if there is anything I can do to slightly boost it over time.

Yeah, sorry about the joke. You can find a top seo seller in fiverr for a decent price. I've used some and got pretty good results. It takes time, but worth it if you're playing the long game.

Long game all the way! I'm into creating multiple income sources and I want them to serve me for a long time! No use of getting quick cash, I'll just end up spending it :D
