Hey, guys! What's up?
I just found an interesting video on ChatGPT / OpenAI ToS that I thought you might be interested in. Personally, I don't use, or intend to ever use this service, but if you're an avid user then this video is a must watch for you:
The interesting bits start at 4:30 into the video, but if you don't want to watch the entire 12 minutes worth of cautionary content then the gist of it is that if you - the user - or someone else sues OpenAI for defamatory / inaccurate reasons because of the content generated by ChatGPT which is published on YOUR site, then you will pay even OpenAI's legal defending fees. Or something like this.
Just watch the video as it's pretty well explained by an actual lawyer...
That's all I've got, I thought that with the chatGPT hysteria and hype going around you folks might be interested to know what you're agreeing to when you click on that "I agree to the Terms and Services"
Cheers!
PS: if there has already been a thread about this topic before I apologize beforehand and I kindly ask the mods to delete this thread as I'm not aware of such a topic having existed before since I haven't got the slightest interest in this topic.
