My friend owns and operates a very popular website for a video game. He makes strategies, guides, video tutorials, and all that. He currently gets around 3,000 - 4,000 visitors per day.

    My questions are

1 - What would be the best way to monetize the site?

2 - Let's say he just generated revenue from CPC ads - how much should he be making a day on average if he gets 3,500 hits? I know there are a lot of factors involved, but if you had to guess.

3 - He had an idea now that he has a big following to make people have to pay to register to the site and access advanced content - like advanced ebooks, guides, videos - while still offering some free stuff on the side. Would this ruin his reputation and turn people off? Is it a good idea?
