Many years ago this forum was fantastic, you could genuinely learn from it.

Great debates were raised, fantastic threads were written, case studies were everywhere, methods actually worked....

It was a forum of great potential

Now I just see loads of noobish BS, threads about "how can I earn $700 for an iphone to take selfies with"

This is the class of twat we are welcoming to this forum, and while I believe mickyfu was joking the other day... He has a good point:

Can we please consider charging new people a fee, well above WF's fee.

Sure, allow people to join and read the forum... but don't let them post unless they are serious. This $25 shows they are serious.

I don't care what happens to the cash, stick it in DD's bank like the rest of the money generated... but for the love of god can we please at least consider it?

This forum is like a pub with a childrens play area, a stripper bar with a waiting room for the wifes, a race track with a go kart section....

The standard of member has dropped considerably. Lets raise it.

    Well obviously.

You're so cute OP. You're like one of those old people complaining that kids skateboard on the sidewalk.

I have suggested a membership fee previously, but they are against the idea.
I am sure even a $1 registration fee would cut many of the bs accounts.
I have nothing against noob accounts but there seems to be a new breed of noob with a sense of entitlement, and very poor work ethic.

No, I am Not Ste Huhes - first of my name.

I just hate having to read 90% of the crap people post on here.

go back and read a thread from 5 years ago - the standard is much much higher.

Now its "oh guys how can i get more instagram followers derp...."

    "how does clicking work"

    "whats your favourite movie"

I only have 4 euros from when I went to spain and 3 potatos.

$25 is the smallest amount between being affordable enough to not put people off, and big enough to encourage noobs to go elsewhere

The forum must be free for everyone to read, but to post i do agree that a minimum of $5 or even $2 can be a good deterrent .

BHW Mods knows whats best and many already said that it was a NO from them. I didnt find a need to join any other forum after I registered here. I wouldnt say I didnt join but I lost interest very soon but this forum is one of the tabs which gets fired up along with my browser till today.

Starting from help to good threads, I find them regularly. I dont expect anyone to spoonfeed in journeys or methods too, just an approach is more than enough to give you a vision.

Well, charging some fees may curb the no of new accounts but they always aren't bad. We would in turn deprive many people to join this great forum. There can be some other regulations imposed on newbies which can restrict them from shitting here.

Whether or not this is his X account doesn't contextually matter.
I agree 100% with this suggestion. I used to use the front page feed to find interesting threads to read and discuss. Now, the vast majority are moronic journey threads that amount to nothing and a bunch of idiotic bumps in sales threads, all asking for a review copy (making it impossible to find an ACTUAL review).

Would love to see this idea be put to practice.

I reckon Not Ste Hughes is Ryan Eagle, they have the same type of humour.

Isn't Jr VIP supposed to solve the newbie problems anyway?
