Channel Case Study of Youtube Tricks - How Did They GROW SO FAST?

Please pm me if you know the source.

I just spent one hour watching this Derral Eve's guy. This guy pisses me off. You do a one hour semenar that you probably got paid thousands for and not once mention paid views or bots. The guy addresses the crowd as if anyone can just upload a video and poof. Magically without traffic it will grow. Guys like this just bug me. Lol. Guy charges 359$ for a consultation lol.

Crazy thing is I have just been currently watching his videos on "Youtube Algorithm Update". Anyways, I am in a different niche than you. Some of the bigger people in my niche know each other and they'd have similar activities. It made sense as they were friends. This is some months now, but here's what I noticed.

1. They'd upload their videos, and 2/3 people that knew each other would have their videos trending in the same countries. These would countries like Turkey, Australia, France etc. I don't find our niche to be one that videos trend a lot, after doing some research and looking here. I found they where services here that provided "Trending".

Of course, since the recent update this doesn't work and a lot of YouTube providers don't provide this service at the moment. Anyways, I would have never known about this had I not thought it was weird etc. Also these same people in my niche sell/provide "SEO" to help people rank. I soon figured out they're just resellers for a provider on here. Charge people crazy amounts and claim to have a way to rank etc.

My point of this, is there is always tricks and people will act like there isn't. Sometimes you just have to try figure it out yourself, as hard as it may be.

2. Now since the update, things have been weird. However, I've already started to notice one of the guys videos ranking keywords almost instantly as it's uploaded. Also, one of the providers here which I know a lot of people in my niche use his service. Recently posted a Ranking Tip. You can PM me i'll point you to that, i'm testing it out to see how it goes.

Thanks for this post because I was in the dark for a while wondering how all this is possible, spending loads in adwords. I'm certain people have their methods and I doubt they'll reveal them.

Highly intriguing thread. You are on to something. Props for starting this thread and digging so deep. I will follow this thread and read every tip carefully

Anybody in this thread found out anything new? This still seems like the best thread in this section for a long time and I am checking every day if soemone new posted but nobody does.

Catm6 did you find anything new?

Hey guys. Unfortunately I have nothing new to report. Still struggling. Still no answers.

One thing I have to stress. In the past few weeks I have been watching these how to grow your YouTube channel videos from guys like Derral Eves. I've come to one conclusion. These guys are frauds.

Why?

They always fail to even bring up where to get the initial traffic needed for a video to grow.

The first 2 days basically dictate where your video will go. Shown by YouTube or in the garbage. There are instances where by chance, YouTube will start to promote a video 2 months after it's upload. This is rare.

The channels who blow up know the correct upload procedure. It is a mix of a traffic boost and engagement. All signs are pointing to the use of bots.

The thing about guys like Derral Eves (from what I've seen of his work), is they're giving advice to small business owners, like people with bricks and mortar business, etc. They have no knowledge or experience in tackling high or even low-competition keywords. They're ecstatic when they rank #1 for a keyword like "Video Marketing for Your Business Palm Springs, California". The majority of their videos may get 5 views per day.

Interesting. I have been thinking the same thing as well that these guys must know exactly what to do when uploading their videos. These first days are really critical in my opinion. You really have to get it to suggested as fast as possible because most people click from the suggested videos and are not really searching for specific keywords most of time.

Then you have to hook them with great content, get them to subscribe so they watch you again the next time you upload a video and it will be even easier to reach suggested because now you are not only boosting yourself but also with the help of your subscribers.

What is though? You say bots, have you investigated what kinds of bots these are? Are you talking about real bots a la followliker for instagram where the bots watch your videos and like and comment or more like buying fake views and likes?

Fake views tend to take a day sometimes to deliver and maybe until then it's already too late. There has to be something we are overlooking.

This is exactly the thread I've been looking for! I've been watching that (Goo Goo Gaga etc..) channel for a few weeks and I cannot understand their growth.
Very first video hits 1M. What the...!

They do have a featured channel. That seems to be the 'real' channel. It's connected their instagram, twitter etc...you can see family pictures and everything.
The other (Goo Goo) channel has none of that.

Guys. Just giving an update. So far no good news. Those who are doing well all claim its luck. We managed to get one video off the ground using a boost technique but every video since has just been dead as usual. So my technique is not very effective compared to what these other guys are doing.

What does this tell us? There is 100% a trick / technique that works 90% of the time. We managed to get one video to 6 million views in one month out of 15 videos. Meanwhile these channels are doing this on EACH new upload.

There is 100% a source of traffic that can be bought which works. I haven't found it. The guys who found it don't post here that's for sure.

Hello Catm6
I Have build a new channel from 2 month ago also intersted in kids games
i have bought about 30 games and make a video for each game the video about 10 minutes but not english

Whoa...how did you get 6M on your one video? That's awesome. Please share!

Its not worth sharing because it only worked on one video and hasn't been as effective since. Guys. One thing I've learned is that even if something is found, we can't share it publicly. Hence the lack of information on the subject. That's what private messages are for.

Guys I have been up every night for the last 3 months studying everything I can. I have friends helping me experiment. I have invested a ton of money. I've done a lot of leg work. No offense but don't come to me with a channel that just opened a month ago with 10videos asking me how to blow it up. First of all I don't have all the answers yet. Secondly it's not very fair. Expect to do some of your own leg work.

My biggest tip so far is that its not just about thumbnails and seo. This is 30% of it. The other 70% is how to trick YouTube into suggesting your video. Period. Its a trick. Without the trick you will be running in place like me. I repeat. I do not know it yet. I am still struggling myself and I've been doing this for 3 years.

Appreciate the update as well. I've helped a few small businesses with their SEO so all of this is baffles me. I was happy to find this thread.

the trick is

1). WE DON"T RELY on youtube for the first significant boost before youtube pick our channel / video and give more exposure.

2). after we manage to get the point one above, WE DON"T RELY on youtube to get the ball rolling, it is our viewers decisions WHETHER they click our video on the suggested list or even homepage, WHETHER they watch till the end, WHETHER they click our other videos, etc. youtube only collect the data, compute and put our vid into where it belongs to.

fake boost is all about point number one, and it's NOT the only way of boosting, but it's useless if point number two missing. it doesn't matter how many subs we have, how many videos we uploaded if our normal views less than 100 then our channel has no weight it's almost like a new channel. it doesn't matter how good we think of our channel or videos, the real data is there and that's the truth.

at this point, the trick is our mind set. you will running around in circle at point number one. understand the phase and purposes. for example if you see your competitor has VERY HIGH engagement on IG and FB (i don't know about their subs views but i bet it is high too), then work on that too. if you think he faking it too... <insert sad music here, 10 frames>

work on the intent and interest, learn your analytic, that's the magic secret. the thing is, when youtube already had gave us exposure which results in organics and we could not capitalising on it, yes there's a problem but it's not on youtube side or some magical things. AND blame your organic viewers if you can't blame yourself, because youtube only collect their session data, compute, etc.

i'm sorry i'm blunt. but you really have to able to capitalising on the fake boost, that's the point of boosting, legit or fake. at some point it is viewers decisions. that's why the first question i asked what's your subs status watch time tell you. it's just one aspect of one factor, but it can tell the whole story, what to work on, what to focus on.

youtube cake is SO BIG, unlike google serp where most people click on one of the top 10 results and gone, youtube is a closed circuit, fake traffic can get us to the high traffic tracks but it's not the reason we succeed.

I agree on this one!
