to the url that look better for visitors. but now PA is 1 is this normal? Should i change it back ?

OK, I will start at the easier one first:
    1) PA has NOTHING to do with Google indexing your page or anything of the sort. PA is irrelevant to Google, it is a third party metric.
On to the next part: it dropped to PA1 because by adding a new word, it essentially is seen as a new page, any links are now no longer pointing there, so yeah, there is that.

PA is Page authority so by changing the URL of the page you have created a new page which has resulted in it having a PA of 1 as it has no history.

You should do a 301 redirect from your old page as any links to your old page will be void and could be serving up a 404 error.
