Changing someones life for the better - The story....

We all heard the touching story of valwardon who took a guy living on the street and taught him methods to earn some extra money online to help him out... (thread is here for people who aint seen it).

So it made me realise that actually we can all do our part in our everyday online world's in helping anyone who needs help....

I posted a while back a thread asking for people to outsource my work to... out of all the candiates (some who were company's who i refused) i chose just one (thats all i could manage and have enough work for to last the whole day). This one person i have been getting to know pritty well already, granted its only been 1 1/2 days now but he genuinly works hard, has studied hard and still earns hardly anything for his time effort and hes really a clever guy with a great english level. I wasnt expecting anyone as good as him as most people i have outsourced work to before have been cocks and do work for lots and lots of other people.

Now then not all of you may be in a position to outsource work but im paying him the equivelent of a mc flurry and a bit an hour or 2 maximum, its not alot but its alot for him. He currently works for $10 to $20 a day as a medical transcribist online and works 6 hours or more a day. How boring and crap is that but still everyone needs enough food to live and eat everyday and its a boring same job every single day.

So now he did alot of work for me today (bit slow compared to my speed) and he listened and worked very hard on these projects which infact was the first time he has worked on this kinda stuff too.

Anyway it came to the third project that needs to be completed today or tommorow and so i asked him to do it.... he replied "im really sorry but its 1am here now and i need to get up early for my transcribing job tommorow sorry but i really do need to sleep now". I was thinking damn i really have alot of things i want him to do tommorow for me so i can get things moving alot quicker and get new projects into action and ive earnt like $150 today already and its not even over for me yet.... but hes really troubled over earning what i call a small $20 or just $10 tommorow working for 6 hours ($2 to $3 per hour). Got me thinking god the amount of stuff i can have him do for me in 6 hours is shocking that i could pay him the same amount of better and he enjoys this work alot more.

Being in the christmas spirit that i was in i decided to ask him if he would take the day off (he works freelance) and he agreed and im paying him $20 flat rate for tommorow + bonus for todays work and bonus for tommorows work if he gets it all done and does good work. Heck i thought fuck it i want a lie in tommorow too and he prob aint had a lie in for ages if he has to work 6 hours a day just to earn a living, now he has 12 hours untill he has to start work for me when normally he would be starting work in 6 hours time...

now i feel really buzzed that i know im helping someone have a better life and yet they are doing something to earn it.

Sorry for it being sooooo long but its kinda my story of outsourcing and i feel like me and this guy are going to build a good business relationship together and it will be longterm eventually maybe even set him up to work for himself and employ other people.

Dude that is really awesome man, sometimes it is easy to forget everyone we work with and who works for us are sometimes in a lot worse situations than us, and it doesnt take too much from us to at least help a bit.

That's cool!!... I've always wanted to help someone out, and pay them like $15-$20 an hour... , once I get rich!!

Where do you get that cheap of outsourcing though??

Just realised that 12 hours time means i gotta get up at 8 or 9am loool damn my maths :S ahhh well i will wake up... give him some things to do and then go back to bed .

ha ha i told everyone its hypnotising.... story is a bit long and i keep telling myself im no writter but then when i do write long things im really good... just wish i enjoyed it more.

its nice to listen these acts of kindness.
I have also tried to help some of my friends by sharing my knowledge.
though they were not bums or anything.
