Hey guys, I'm starting a web page, but for now I'll be using a hosting from a friend of mine, but then I will get another hosting service, is it difficult to transfer the domain name from one server to the other?

No don't let it stop you, it's not difficult but it can be a little tricky the first time. However, luckily for you there is an abundance of guides on google that should help you through it.

And if your nice maybe your friend will help you out? :)

Transferring domain name is simpler process
You just need to move files/folders/database to new host and change domain name server to new host
if you want to move domain as well to new host then need to give them EPP code so initialize the domain transfer which is chargable

It is absolutely easy! You need just to login to your domain registrar and supply the new Nameserver details of your new hosting, usually 2 IP addresses

then just move your website content - all files, folders, databases.. and your are done
