Hi everyone, just a quick question that I think I know the answer to but just want to double check. I want to move my site to a new domain but want to keep all the backlinks and serp positions to the domain I'm currently using. If I do a 301 redirect from my old domain to my new one will this pass on all the backlinks and serp positions to the new domain?

You should use 301 redirect and might as well use the "change of address" setting in Google Webmaster tools.
