    heyoo,

was going not only to change content on hp to offer better quality but also to a higher amount of words. May be not at once but step by step ?
Could this lead to a loss of rankings- any experience ?
(Site is about 2 years old and actually ranking #7 for an 16tsd searches/month productkey with very few bookmarklinks in google germany)

    Thanks for your time

There's several things that come into play here, but more importantly, i see your site is ranking well, as you stated above. In this case it wouldn't be wise to play with it. But... if it isn't converting well, the risk, compared to the return is very low. I would definately go ahead with these changes. If the site isn't converting, then the "Rank" is worthless...

Can you give me more details, so that I can better help you? Otherwise, I would move forward with your decision.

    Hey Seosupport,
thanks for your valuable reply. Indeed its a tough decision to be done. I might probably add new contet first which offers better quality above the already existing content. And then later delete old content in exchange to adding new stuff. Yes its risky- not shure yet
