    Greetings,

(sorry if this is in the wrong section)

I have a celebrity parody site, that I created about 5 months ago. When I first created the site, I didn't think it had much potential, so I just threw together a basic website and added adsense and made it live.

To my surprise I now receive over 4,000 unique visitors a day (by far my most popular site). Go figure my crappiest looking site goes viral. I occupy the number 1 spot for 2 great search terms.

However, I am only making about 8 dollars a day thru adsense. After checking my site statistics it appears that nearly half of my visitors leave withing 10-15 seconds of entering. I don't blame them, it looks like a child designed it.

My question is: How much of my site can I change (if any) without affecting my search engine rank and position? What are some need to know things about changing a website. The site needs a complete overhaul, but the LITTLE content I have is being picked up by google and making me #1, so Im afraid to change it.

Thanks in advance for your insight.
