F U Google! seriously. I change my hosting to cloud based to increase speed, added ssl, added dedicated IP and I get a drop in rankings! Nothing else has changed in SEO or website. Mobile results dropped more than desktop. What in the hell? Has anyone else experienced this?

Google, you're fucking killing me smalls!

I think that's just a Google dance. SSL and dedicated IP should improve the SERP as per my experimentation. Just make sure your site speed has not been degraded than that of the previous server. People advertise a lot of stuff but you need to make sure of certain things. You know what I mean :) Hopethe SERP gets normal for your site soon!

Hosting changes affect rankings. Has happened to me too. From godaddy to bluehost etc. But after 2 weeks or so it improves. The problem happens if your site is position 1 and you shift to 3-4 because of downtimes etc. No one knows all so keep working.

Due to ssl ur urls have changed. A quote from the holly book of seo: "you should not change the urls of an indexed website because rankings will temporarily drop and newbs will panic" Amen.

As laur stated SSL changes url, change of hosting will not affect your rankings unless there is major change in site speed.
Are you redirecting non-ssl to ssl ?

That's false. There are so many shitty websites on all hosts, it would be stupid to judge a site just by its neighbourhood (also confirmed by Google). Unless OP went to a blackhat adult spam host, then the hosting is not the problem.

It has to do with SSL configuration.
Make sure you did it right and it's working.
I switched to SSL,although it didn't affected my ranking ,I saw a slight increase in CTR

Check you did not add ssl then cloud flaire later on. Cloud flaire overrides your ssl.

    Also check this links carefully
    Www version
    Non www version
    Http with www version
    Http with non www version
    Https with www version
    Https with non www version

    Then this

    -
Also check this links carefully for internal links

    Www version
    Non www version
    Http with www version
    Http with non www version
    Https with www version
    Https with non www version

You have to test one by one all is fine i.e for my host they redirect the home link only when you open the internal link that damn shyt redirect didnt work

It has happened to me before but without SSL. SERP was dancing heavily but managed to get back to its place after some time.
