I knew this would happen, but this is a week old site that was dominating in the serps for like 3-4 days, and I changed the title/desc to make it more efficient. Will I come back up? Now that I've done it I'm slightly paranoid... anyone else do anything similar to this?

Depends what it was, what you changed it to, what it was ranking for.

From my experience, if you change the title 1 time. It will come back in about 2 weeks. Google just dancing with your site. If you panic and change it back, then count as 2. It takes longer, about 3-4 weeks.

    Home Page:
It sounds like its just doing a google dance. Did you do keyword research and change your title tag to a keyword that you thought would bring more traffic? The title tag is one of the most important parts to onsite SEO, so be sure that you have that exactly set to what you want to be targeting.

I have done the samething in the past. I changed a description and the site disappeared for a good long while, maybe couple of weeks. Not sure why it takes so long to comeback.

Changing the title is one of the more obvious tells that someone is trying to game the system.

This is so false you don't even need a lie detector to prove it.
