    Hey roomies! :peace:

I've heard that you can change to the point of login on a wp
site to something other than "wp-admin" after your domain
    to help avoid getting hacked

    anyone know how?

    Your help is really appreciated!

    Hali~!:)

You could, I personally use .htaccess to password protect the wp-admin directory and if I am the only one accessing the admin I like to deny all and then allow my IP

I have a dynamic ip so I usually do something like this:

    order deny,allow
    deny from all
    allow from 123.45.67.

That way as long as my ip starts with 123.45.67. I will be allowed in (assuming I know the password).

or just put a simple http auth in front of it. works fine for me for years now :) then you even dont need to struggle with ip problems if you are not sitting at home on your pc :)
