    Hi,

Anyone know of a freeware software that safely changes someones display names.

It is unimportant as to what the software/program is and will use an example such as: Skype.

The changes must not only change the Desktop Skype name but also change the folder names and any icon that is named Skype.

Basically i want to hide the fact that it is Skype completely.

Imagine for one moment that Skype when double clicking it would prompt you with a small box to enter a password before then opening as Skype does, thus reveling it's self. However to anyone not knowing the password will obviously not know that it's Skype because it never opened based on getting the password wrong and therefore my plan worked in terms of hiding what that software/program is.

Again however don't forget that Skype was used as an example and was not the actual program/software that does prompts you with entering a password and that would then display it's self, which then you would know what the software/program is by visually recognizing it.

Basically there are software/programs that when double clicking them to open they prompt you with wanting a password and does not reveal its self by opening to use the functions on it until you do indeed enter the correct password. I have such a software/program and want to know however how to change the display names as mentioned above.

Bare in mind however that I have tried changing names manually but then the program failed to open based on changing some of the folder names and program names etc and messed it all up lol, had to uninstall and delete all related folders and files and started again by fresh install.
