Hopefully a few of you very experienced SEO guys can tell me what to do: I started a Tumblr a year ago, which led to me starting a website because of it's popularity. The actual website is only a month old with around 30 articles on it. Total amount of followers across all platforms is on the right side of 55000, and is growing with around 400 per day. My website name is a really good one and can basically be used in anything design related. The website is currently all about architecture and interior design. As the website is only a month old obviously it does not have PageRank yet. However, I am quietly confident that it will go straight to PR4 or PR5 when we have the next update. (I base this on the PageRank of the Tumblr, and the quality of inbound links that I am getting. All from white hat authority sites.) Now here is my problem: I have an serious opportunity to switch from Architecture/Design to Fashion, not as a blogger, but as part of a serious Fashion Project. The website name would be a pretty damn good fit for the business model. Obviously I am going to loose half or more of all my followers because of it. However, I am not overly concerned about that. My question to you is the following: What kind of reaction can I expect from Google if I were to to delete all my content, and change the content from being all about architecture/interior design to being around Fashion? I hope some of you experienced SEO's will take the time to give me an answer. Thank you in advance.
