    Hi,

I had set a specific page as my home page and it was indexed and ranking well.

As I wanted to grow the site I needed to change my home page so I set it to a new one.

The previous home page now became just another page on the site...

I was hoping the new url would rank, but it s not the case. As a matter of fact, it didn't even get indexed. it's the only url on my sitemap that is not indexed.

The homepage still ranks for the old kws but lost 10 positions.

Other pages of the site rank very well for their own kws.

Any clue about what to do for this?

    Thanks

Of course it didn't get indexed, because it's counted as a duplicate. Google still has the old content in its index, so you can't just take indexed content from homepage, putting it on inner page and expect it to get indexed anytime soon. That will take a while. Same goes for homepage. Reindexing takes longer than indexing, so wait it out.
