Hi all, Is there any significance to blogger blog template regarding the traffic? As I changed my template, traffic suddenly reduced to more than 50%, previously i used to have 10K+ daily unique visitors.. Now after changing the template, its around 3k to 4k... :( :(

Please let me know is there any solution for this? where i can get back my traffic... I guess i deleted all page elements, which might had backlinking :(

Please someone help, is there any way to know where I messed, and get back all the backlinks?

I'm unsure of wat happend all of sudden, just by changing the template.. someone please let me know the reason... and a probable solution..

    Thanks in advance...

The problem is, you changed the template and thus it was a sudden change over the whole blog.

The solution is, change back to the old template and your traffic will rise again.

The theme change affects the placement of everything on the blog, and how it's read by search engines. That's a huge change, and thus you're penalized for it. I guess anyway.

But if you change the theme itself, you are certain to be penalized. Hardly any doubt about it.

It could be that it have nothing to do with the template, but the template change could coincide with a Google dance or panda or just update from Google on indexed pages.

I have seen the same on my sites, out of a 100 autoblogs traffic has significantly reduced and so has adsense revenue over the past month.

I am focusing now on cleaning out all the errors and unrelated crab and just optimizing all on the blogs to increase overall quality, something the Panda thing looks at apparently.

If i were you, i would only change back half of your templates to see if that is actually the cause, if you change back half the templates, and traffic are still bad after say 2 months then you know it aint the templates

Guess.. You are right.. coz nothing changed with the template change... I guess that was due to back link buttons and adsense banned me 2 days back.. Seems to be the reason I lost the traffic.. I dont believe that, change in template reduces this much of traffic... I have to start again from begininng.. :(
