CBProAds down ? Scam or ?

Those who use CPBProAds to display Clickbank ads on their sites have probably noticed that site is down for last few days. I noticed some of my sites has bad stats, and when checked them, I figured out it is because site could never load because CBProAds were not loading. Checked their site, and they are down.

No email, no explanation, nothing. Only one guy reported they mailed him back and said that they have technical problems that will be fixed on 15.October, and its 16. today

What is fishy is that they cut their fee for 50 % just before site went down. Have they wanted to pick as much money as possible by people upgrading their accounts with discounted fee, and then run away ? Or they really have some technical issues ?

Anyone knows more ? They are really good Adsense alternative, I would be really disappointed if it show they are scammers.

I don't know whether they are down temporarily or down for good. I suspect the latter, but I am usually a pessimist.

It seems that greed may have taken over the operation. That's too bad, because the service was generally good and served a niche market quite well. I did have problems with their affiliate ID links from time-to-time (ID 15750 would appear in place of my ID even when using my personal PRO affiliate link).

So are there any PHP programmers out there? Let's just take the CBPROADS ball and run with it! Why not just use their design concept and build a newer and more honest system? "All" it takes is scraping the Clickbank database or parsing the .xml file that Clickbank provides, converting it to a local database that gets updated once each day, and formatting the info appropriately. Not exactly a small project, I'll grant you, but if some small-time thieves can do it, why can't some honest folks?

CBProads was down a very few times for me, two times now i think. I can live with this. Check my CBProads Review if you like.

I use CBProads on most of my niche blogs, its just so much better than AdSense pennies. I never really hit it big with AdSense, thats why i started with CBProAds

How much can you get per click ? Adsense now is ver low compared with Btdvertiser.

uhm..depends on the product. CB commissions can be as high as 75%.
You get paid per sale. So its not CPC but "per sale".
