I am making a product and am absolutely torn about which way to go. I believe the product is really good to a hurting niche. I was wanting to charge between 297-497. On my own. I was planning to use ppc both adwords and fb to drive traffic to it and I believe it would be profitable. If I go the CB route Im going to have to probably price it cheaper and give a big commission away but that could easily be made up with numbers. Which route is the best way to go? What the hell should I do?

Your right about having to price it cheaper on CB, they wont allow more than $197 normally unless you have a solid sales history with low refund rate.

Personally I would split test everything (sales page/price/upsells etc) using adwords and paypal then once I find the best converting sales page and the best ROI pricepoint I would take it to clickbank and let the affiliates at it.

Even though you might be giving away a lot in commission you will be able to build a list of buyers very quickly which you can then promote new products to and make more money.

Why not create a "small version" of the product for Clickbank. If you could.... I'm not sure it that is possible. You know something just to collect emails... then upsell your bigger product.

    Just an idea.

Yeh I have quite a few clickbank products and the most important thing is to split test it to make 100% sure it converts before putting it on there.

If you throw up a non converting product the affiliates will ditch it almost immediately and your effort will have been wasted.
