    Wow. Named and shamed.

Honestly, I don't get why people aren't smart about this.

Somewhere that barely gets 5 a reviews a month, gets 15 positive reviews in a week. I mean, they're not fooling anyone. Customers are no where near as some of these reputation management or SEO people assume.

Whoa. Are there going to be more of these? I didn't know Google or Yelp would do something like this. It'd be better of if they could take down the listing.

So, here is a new negative reputation management caught. Now Big G is on the prowl to crack down on hitting already hit sites IMO. Should wait and see for more to come.

Goodness! I hope it doesn't come to that. I used to provide fake reviews for a number of businesses. Some had no reviews at all and others were trying to drown out their negative reviews. Maybe I'll post news about them if they are caught. Without saying who they are, of course.

If I am not wrong, then there are many people out there who depend upon fake reviews in order to improve their market standing. It's an age-old strategy but a wrong one too. Since, it's blatantly used by such suckers so there are many new businesses who don't mind resorting to fake reviews and fake branding rather than building their own. Desperate measures only work for desperate situations but in a majority of cases, they don't last long and you've pay for your wrong deeds. Karma fucks the fuckers and retards like these are fucked harder. LOL

    Cheers :)

I was thinking the SAME thing.....so that means someone could create a bunch of fake reviews and get a site in trouble......

I consider it kind of hilarious that people bother to fake reviews, why not just setup a small page that gives users the option to comment on different sites like tripadvisor, google places etc. and hand our fliers at your shop pointing to the page? Even though google is a bitch douchey to IMers they do like it when you give value.
