IF YOU DON'T WANT TO READ THE THREAD I AM JUST LOOKING FOR A CHEAP AND EASY DOMAIN TRANSFER FROM 1&1 TO ANOTHER REPUTABLE AND RECOMMENDED REGISTRAR COUPON CODES HERE WOULD BE IDEAL.

    Hello,

So I knew I owed 1&1.com money and I have been putting off paying them. A few month ago I started getting messages on the number I use for whois from "NCO financial" telling me to call them back. I knew I never did business with a company called NCO financial so like an idiot I ignored the calls.

The other day people call to tell me the main website for my company is down. I go look it says that the domain is expired. I log into 1&1 to find my account locked. I call them and they tell me my contract has been canceled and all domains are set to expire. LOL What? I say I know I owe you money. Can I just pay you? They tell me they can not accept my money and even if they did my account would still be canceled because of notes on the account from this NCO financial.

They tell me to call NCO financial.

I call NCO financial who tells me that they have down that I filed bankruptcy and the debt is now un collectible. I assure them I did not file Bankruptcy. They transfer me around from department to department and I get nowhere. THEY TELL ME TO CALL 1&1 LMAO

I called 1&1 back this morning and begged to work something out.. anything.. they tell me there is nothing I can do and recommend I move my remaining domains immediately.

I'd go for internet.bs if free whois is important to you, otherwise namecheap.

How do you owe them money? It's not like you can purchase 40+ domains and tell the registrar, "Oh I'll pay you later" and they say "Oh OK that sounds great!"

As for the NCO financial. I wouldn't worry about them. Simply transfer the domains that you want to keep to a new host and forget about the other ones.

I take it you are not a 1&1 customer? Unless you specifically go through a lengthy difficult process all domain you register with them are set to renew. If your payment information with them is not up to date or for some other reason they can not extract the money from you they go ahead and pay the registration on your behalf and then send you to a collections company. No I am not kidding.

Look for a namecheap coupon online, or ask them if they can give you one and you will transfer in 44 domains. The kind of trouble you encountered with 1&1 would not happen at namecheap.
