last july Nvidia released gtx 770 over clocked by evga in the uk i bought 1 380 pounds
    only 2 cards where above it 780 / 780ti

yesterday Nvidia released the new GTX 970 - 980
now the 970 comes in at 265 pounds and is more powerful than last years
    770 or 780.

the 980 is outa my range at 500 pounds over kill for 1080p gaming anyways.
so i thought ill treat my self to the gtx 970 hell its more powerful than what i have now
and better than the next card above mine 780

now the card wife has in her pc is a gtx 560ti quite old by todays standard
so i said to the wife, hay when the 970 arrives do u want my 770 over clocked card
thing to mention sept 2014 770 gtx retail 260-280 pounds right now and is a 13 car
step up from what she has

she just looked at me and said - i dont want your cast offs - wtf - only 14 months old
and still a top 5 card in nvidia range unlike her 560 relic

Lol the way you wrote that made me smile graphics card being a relic ^^ i dont see how an upgrade can be classed as a cast off.
