In my travels through the matrix I found a bunch of websites that are presumably by the same guy because:

a) they are all exactly the same
b) he spammed the fvck out of all of them, often times in the same spam comment on the same blog

Like literally, this guy's spam comments are like (Forex, Home Refinance, Another keyword, another keyword) etc. and there will be like 20-30 of those in the SAME COMMENT. ROFL! I guess if you're going to spam, have no shame and don't even try to make it look legit, right?

Anyway, his sites all use the same exact format, and if you go to the bottom and see the page numbers, most of them have a ton of pages, most of which are an affiliate link to some product, and a few of which are links to shitty spun articles.

My thoughts about this guy's work:

1) his web pages are ugly as fvck
2) it must have taken FOREVER to set up those dozens of affiliate links on his dozens of websites
3) Many of his articles are obviously spun because they sound like ESL drivel and don't make sense.

My thoughts:

1) He probably gets an affiliate sale here and there
2) He probably gets more Adsense clicks as people are desperate to get off his ugly and annoying webpages
3) No intelligent person would spend any time on that site because the content is shit, it's hard to navigate, and it's ugly.

This guy has dozens of sites. Here are a few examples. I didn't link them because I don't want him getting hits from bhw, so copy and paste these.

And imagine dozens more sites that are exactly like those and you've got this guy's business plan.

The sites look aweful, but if hes making his buck, i like it.

im trying to a similar thing with a few medical sites

hopefully mine come out better haha

They just look like your typical micro sites that everyone is building these days. While I do agree they are ugly, they aren't as bad as some of the micro's I have seen lately. As far money on those sites alone, probably not much because the traffic is really low on them.

But if you have a lot of them out there, all on autopilot, and use automated ways to get backlinks it adds up...:D

Please remove the examples from your post...it's not cool...might ruin someones business.

Done.

I wasn't sure if it was cool to post them or not. I've seen people post examples of people's websites before but I wasn't sure what the criteria was for whether or not it was allowed.

Cliffs Notes for those who missed the examples:
- Ugly websites with ads everywhere and shitty spun "articles"
- Dozens of pages per website each with an affiliate link to some product
- > 99% of backlinks were from comment spam

I didnt see the example, but I do know some of the worst looking sites convert highest.. I've done a lot of testing and the cleanest web 2.0 landing page can't compete w/ the crappy looking stuff.

Perhaps because the audience is on old school computers? hah

You know, whenever I talk to just normal people on the street about ads and banners and spammy products on websites, they all say the same thing. "I never click on anything and I don't buy unless its from a retailer thats got a store down the street from me" So who buys this shit and clicks ads? who the hell knows

@mollah -> Thanx

...I don't buy unless its from a retailer thats got a store down the street from me...

If that was true sites like eBay and Amazon wouldn't be the million dollar businesses they are today...:D

Buying online holds 2 advantages for people:

- better price
- convenient shopping

It's like with the catalogs before the Internet existed. Instead of driving 100s of miles to the nearest town with a decent amount of shops they would order from catalogs.

Nowadays it really depends on the type of product. Cars, boats, expensive jewelry are items you would like to "hold in your hands" before you hand over the cash.
As for cheap and mid-price items online shopping is good enough...even more if the online shop is reputable.
Online payment options and buyer protection (PayPal, CC companies) have increased the feeling of safe online shopping.

i still wanna know how he gets away with the linking

Regarding the linking...you have described scrapebox to T. If it was forums you were talking about, I would definitely say it is Xrumer, but for blogs...sounds a lot like scrapebox.

And yeah...of course they are all his sites, but don't forget to consider that "he" might actually be a "they."

even with my own sites, it seems the simplest ones with the least amount of work are the ones that get clicks. the blogs i actually spend time trying to make them as good as possible with lots of original content rarely get any clicks.
