Don't you hate it when you pay someone to rank your website but you feel ripped off? Yeah, I used to feel like that all the time so I just started doing everything myself and this is how I did it.

I must admit I have met 1 guy who knows what he's doing when it comes to SEO (you know who you are bb ) In fact he told me to start getting backlinks from web 2.0 properties like Tumblr etc. If there was one bit of advice I could offer after doing this case study that would be to learn SEO, learn how to do on-page SEO correctly and build backlinks... you won't regret it. SEO consists of website optimization for keywords etc and quality link building... that's it, no special button to get you ranked in the top. Don't believe the hype when someone tells you they can get you to the top in 20 foe hours lulz.

These are some of the end results from an article about using this method for link building. You can check it out below if you want a full tutorial on the links I'm building, this is more of a case study so I won't get into the finer details.

    http://www.onlinedimes.com/high-pr-backlinks

Keep in mind that I did this on easy/medium keywords. I did manage to get one hard keyword ranked and it was super hard but I'm going to assume it was a fluke since the KC was over 50. This won't work for most hard keywords because you would need to add more juice like private blog networks.

Let's get into it, I'll use 2 sites. I'm going to use sites that I used for testing since I kept some records of it all, I have quite a few other little sites ranking that I won't mention because we will be here forever haha.

I'm not really going to go into how many links are pointing to each site because there are lot's of factors at play like quality of links and your website etc, I do start off at 12+ links and usually have to use more but remember the more your network grows the stronger it gets so in theory it will work better for you in the long run when you drop links.

I use PR2+ Tumblr's and Weebly's, I know I know, most of you are going to say PR doesn't mean shit no more but I've seen better results with them and it makes me sleep at night :) I go for PA of 27+ and now with TF 10+. I never used to worry about trust flow much but it make a big difference.

Site #1 (just hitting 4 months old)

    fELTRsB.png

Keyword #1 has quite a few authority websites on the front page so I was never sure if it was going to hit it but it did! With a little extra help. This hit page 2 with just Tumblr and weekly's and was bouncing to page 1 then back again. To make it stick I got a friend to drop some PBN links. I built links to it for a month then just left it for 2 months, about a month ago is when I hit it with the PBN links however it held nicely at the top of page 2 with just Tumblrs and a couple Weebly links.

Keyword #2 & 3 These are new keywords I added at the start but only started building links to them about 6 weeks ago, nothing crazy yet but I have movement.

    Lt9amwk.png

Keyword #7 I have worked on this keyword on and off not really paying much attention because it wasn't one of my primary keywords at the time. I've now started to throw more at it to get it back and past that 23 mark.

    Odj5fsg.png

Other random Keywords These are strong buyer keywords so I've worked on them quite a bit and they bring in revenue already. Even tho I have low volume keywords in there I still want to rank those bad boys. This keyword had only had links from a bunch of Tumblrs numbers and 3 Weekly links.

    Site #2
    (3 months old)

    xVgKLQ1.png
    8jYSCMQ.png

Keyword #12 I didn't do any backlinking on this until about 8 weeks ago and the results are really decent for this keyword. The keyword was steady at 6th for about 3 weeks not then hit 4th last night.

    4YUCj9t.png

Another Keyword This one is doing really well and the page is only 5 weeks old! this website had some ok domain authority so that helps. I haven't pointed many links to the page itself around 7 TF10+ Tumblrs and one TF 17 Weebly. It hit 14 after I dropped the Weebly

    eTbREPJ.png

    This Little Sucker
was sitting nicely for the last couple of weeks then I dropped a Weebly link to it about 7 days ago and she's gone up nicely! just from 1 link. This article is only 3 weeks old

That's really it, Let's talk about diversity. If you are worried about diversity simply just go and buy a few blog comment packages or something. This isn't for hard keywords I've only tested this on smaller niche sites, don't go out and try and rank for the keyword "insurance" with this method because it won't work haha.

If you want to see me set up the Tumblrs you can read my article or this video might explain things better https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n0allTL8NW4

These are some of the best links you can get. Nearly as powerful as a PBN and a lot cheaper plus easier to manage (For me at least).

    Good share.

EDIT: I am surprised you are not offering a BST here. Some people may like to tap into your Web 2.0 network but dislike giving someone else aside from the seller a cut.

Your are just promoting SourceWaveMarket same as Fiverr.

Nothing but affiliate links on your website.

My GF is actually selling links on a couple of my smaller networks on fiverr but nothing on here yet, she wanted something to do so she is doing that atm. I would maybe do it myself in the futre but no time atm.

Actually no I'm showing people results that work, could just keep this all to myself and not show anyone my results...... I'm going to post source market in my article anyways because that's where I get my tumblers from when I buy them sometimes. I would be a retard if I didn't put my own link in.

To say nothing but affiliate links would mean a page with just affiliate links brah, ya know? haters gonna hate, potatoes gonna potate and skaters gonna skate I guess.

Hey great thread! I just have a question: do you keep your 2.0 properties multi-thematic or totally focused to one niche? Cheers!

When I first started I kept it to one niche but it became hard to manage since I do it all in a spreadsheet. I still try to keep it niche related but don't worry too much if I'm trying to rank alot of websites at once.

For example one of my test sites was my brother's construction company and I just threw it up on my web 2.0s with my health click bank product etc. I also forgot to mentions it's best to stop posting once the tumbler gets another page going. So you want everything on the home page, once things start going to the second page then just leave it and move on to others. With a Weebly you can have 25 post on the home page so I stop posting on that one once I hit 25.

On the other hand though another good way that works for me and others I know is to get a few powerful tumbler's and just use them for one of your money sites. Over about 4-6 weeks just drip links onto the tumblers and don't link out to any of your other sites. Once we get about 4 or so links per tumbler that's it just leave them alone to pass the juice to the money sites.

I would recommend scraping them yourself if you can because then you can go through them and find the gems. I paid my partner a little cash to go through 1000+ scrapped Weebly's and she found heaps of really good ones.

cool, combining these links with PBNs and few other link types will even move harder keywords. Thanks for sharing btw.

Awesome, just did a little digging myself and found about 3 really good ones for my niche with DR around 35-51.

Never even looked into this until now lol.

Yeah it's worth it, when I first started it was slow but once you get a good network built up it becomes easier. I have around 170+ tumblrs now and I add about 5-10 decent ones a week from scraping and some weeks I buy some.

I use long tail pro although it's just a guideline really, the real work should be in checking the backlinks on the top 10. Long tail pro is ok but it takes things like DA and PA into consideration but those can be spammed, you could miss out on a good keyword if you just go off what long tail pro says.

Tip: if you have trouble finding a niche scroll through this http://www.stumbleupon.com/discover/interests/all How i find my niches
