What are you comparing it to? I mean it needs some ranking already to get sandboxed. I have a theory that google simply puts you in quarantine when it sees too many shitty links meaning it will simply for months/years simply disregard all incoming links.

1 year ago I started with IM with 1 specific website, I got it sandboxed within 2 weeks, so what you talk about Panda? Recently I sandboxed anohter website of mine, went from 40 unique visitors/day to 0.

The sandbox is not a myth.

Yep, I want to know what the KW is also :) Because if it is what I think it is, that's not much of a KW :)

    UPDATE:
started a blast on 8000 unique domains

sandbox is when a site disappear from the index!
before this case study my opinion is that there is only a site problem when disappear!!!
but soon we can get the results

imo sandbox is that your site droppes hugely in the rankings, de-indexing is something else (besides, your saying that it's only a problem when it disappears is the biggest nonsense and you know that as well, cause you're saying that losing all your visitors is no problem) LOL

fyi: I blasted another site of mine with 150k comments and 50k xrumer profiles, and I sandboxed it, went from 40 unqiues to 0 unqiues a day, but it's still visible in the serps when I type in my sitename. (I did this last month and have posted about it before on this forum). The site is PR5 btw.

Apart of that it's total useless to redo a case study when others before you (like me) did it a on a much larger scale recently. 8k links is nothing. To be a bit more detailed: The first blast I did exactly 6 weeks ago and it was 50k blogcomments on highly spammed pages, I sandboxed my site for 1 week, and it got back at 40 uniques after that. Then I waited one week and I did it again but this time with 100k comments and 50k xrumer. Now it dropped again and stayed behind for almost 4 weeks and is still ranking nowhere.
