Firstly I will be referring to Micro Niche Sites as MNS through this case study.

    Background

Im currently building a MNS portfolio and was going to outsource everything to the service providers on BHW. But for the cost involved I thought I would be better off buying complete MNS's from the providers on BHW.

Cost for the creation of 10 outsourced Niche site creation:
    Keyword Research: 10 x $11 = $110
Quality Content Creation decent enough for a money site: 10 per sites (100 x $5 =$500
Developer Virtual Assistant: $110 for 1 week to setup and configure all sites
SEO for each site: Roughly $67
    Total: $1390

As you can see it makes sense to use the MNS providers who charge from $35 to $97 depended on the number of unique articles and if SEO is included.
    Things to note first.

I will be paying for all services out of my own pocket so if someone's service doesn't cut it I will make that clear in the case study as I have not only my time but my own money invested.

I have informed all of the providers about this case study so their all on an even playing field.

I have chosen the top providers based on number of positive reviews and the amount of time they have been offering their service.

    The Requirements:

No Trademarked or Brand name in the domain
We will select a specific niche if the provider allows

Please see the image below for the chosen providers and the service purchased:

Please note that domains and hosting is not included in these prices

Links to the providers threads here on BHW

    msaqib_301

    breakaway

    basstrackerboats

    sterday

So far I have learnt that the main difference between the 4 offerings is the number of unique articles included and if you get any link building (Offsite SEO) included.

The case study will be completed in two stages:

    Stage one
    - Once sites are delivered I will review the providers on the below factors.

    Keyword Research
    Site design and configuration
    Service provided
    Onsite SEO
    Ranking Competition

Stage 2 - After 1 month i will update the thread with the serp ranking and profit margin from each site. I feel one month is the optimum time for the offsite SEO to start working and for the sites to stablize in the rankings

Feel free to post comments in the thread and i will try to answer them.

Also if you have any ideas or anything to add about the providers.

Excellent, been focusing on SEO and offline stuff mostly but thinking about diversifying but do not want to invest the time. If these come out of the box with some passive $$ potential I might take a dive in too.

    Thanks for the study

Also maybe add links to their BST thread, interested in checking out MASQIB_301

Great thread, I love to see comparisons of services. BTW everyone, if you find the graphic hard to read (my screen is a little small, I'm on a netbook), you can view the image separately and it becomes a lot larger.

edit: image is larger now, nevermind hehe

Not sure about all of them, but for BassTrackerBoats' service you need to purchase your own domain. They just research an available one for you. Also, as someone else said, his service gives you five articles, not two.

    Update

Im wanting to build solid sites that make me revenue for a long time with strong rankings that last and not ones that are gonna disappear from the big G one day. From the ever growing thread's of people saying that there sites have been de-indexed iv noticed the following trends in people getting deindexed.

Wordpress themes designed to have high CTR
Alot of people have been getting banned from adsense and deindexed using completely white hat methods, but using high CTR themes that try to encourage users clicking on ads. So im requesting that all the providers use no themes of the CTR variety.

Offisite SEO - Piss poor links
I dont think theres any sweet spot for how many backlinks you need to rank a MNS but i want to build relevant in content links to these sites so they rank high and adhere as much as possible to the ever changing G00g1e.

So im thinking about using the linkpushing service for all sites so that its fair as far as rankings concerned. This will also become a more accurate test of the providers keyword research and onsite seo skills, as they will all have the same volume and types of links built to them.

Please let me know your thoughts

Post panda requires you build good websites(more than 1 page), good content and onpage seo. There is a BHW thread about this too.

What a great thread, I have been checking into the website creators on BHW for a few days now. Just spent a long time last night reading up again on the threads that I was considering purchasing from.

One of my top three was niche panda but I guess you didn't pick them because of the price? Or maybe you consider them more of an Authority Site and not Micro Niche because they provide 11 articles?

Will sub to this thread I'm very interested in your findings.
