Case study: Can I rank with 100k social signals?

I have multi niche PPD website that I built 2 weeks ago. I will try to rank quite popular niche. I posted it a week ago and built some backlinks to it.

Current rankings for my niche:

kw1: 47
kw2: 57
kw3: 40
kw4: 61
kw5: 71

At this point I have:

3000 Facebook likes
100 Twitter retweets
50 Google+
And some LinkedIn and Pinterest shares.

My plan:

100.000 Facebook likes
2000 Twitter retweets
100 Google+ at least
More LinkedIn and Pinterest shares

I have my ways to obtain those signals very fast, and I think I will be able to finish this case study very soon, might take couple of days. I will update you guys with keywords movement.

There is a lot of discussion whether or not social signals matter for SEO. Well, let's see. Personally, I don't think that Google will be able to ignore something that received 100k social signals. But let's see.

I won't drip feed, I will try to do it as fastest as possible.

Most of the social signals are a mere nofollow links. So you'll actually be measuring how nofollow links affect your ranking.

Its an interesting case study nevertheless.

Interesting, but I think the only social signals which is relevant for the ranking is google+ (shares).

Maybe with high visibility on google+ you can get a big impact on your ranking, but of course its another topic for a case study.

Yeah, I think it will contribute a lot, there is really a lot of discussion whether or not social signals after ranking and how. If 100k social signals do nothing, then a lot of people who spend money on those will realize that they are wasting money. I will use signals from all platforms, but mostly Facebook and Twitter. I am 100% sure I would have much better and faster results with some PBN links and more Facebook accounts, but I can't afford to spend more money atm.

I will update this daily, I already sent few thousand signals to it since I posted.

Actually I am going to have more tweets and G+ that I initially thought. I will build few thousand more today, and will continue doing rest tomorrow.

For the ranking, this does not affect much. I'm more used than the random links this way. And shoot all the keywords. Then I'll see which one works for the site

Number of social signals:

I have also made Google+ Page for post on my website where my niche is. I sent 100 G+ followers to it. I read somewhere that it does help with rankings, so I will use G+ followers as well. They aren't displayed and counting in screenshot I made.

Those are real Google+ shares and reshares, and also some +1s , though most accounts aren't really big, but they still do count. I plan to do at least 500 G+ signals, but I think that I might aim for 1000.

I will be using much more signals than I initially thought, specially G+, Twitter and Pinterest. But I am focusing on 100k Facebook mostly.

I regret doing this particular niche, it isn't worth it really, there is quite competition and I am not really sure if it will pay off. I should have gone for something that would make me sure profit, but it doesn't matter, if this works out, results will be way more important than few bucks here and there. I was maybe a bit optimistic about 100k Facebook signals. I can definitely get them though, but it is taking quite of time.

Looking good so far. I think that parasites could be ranked very easily with this, actually any trusted site, but we will see.

My rank checker is updating few times daily, and since I am posting updates every 24 hours it's much easier for me to just write numbers down.

Like I mentioned, I had few backlinks built by GSA before I started, and I sent few more.

It would be pretty unnatural if it had 0 backlinks and 100k social signals. Those backlinks aren't good enough to rank it well, so I am sure that all of it comes from social signals. Also, I am sure that if I had only few really high quality backlinks, rankings would skyrocket.

I am building all of them on my own.
