Is it ridiculous to have three simultaneous journey threads going at once, along with a day job and a side business? Yeah, it definitely is. Guess what though. I don't care.

What are you going to be doing this time, Sherb?

I'm exploiting an adult niche. Specifically one "entertainer". She's got videos online, but they are few and far between. She's got a legal team out the ass who throws copyright complaints out left and right, so any video that is online isn't on for long. For this reason, there is a relatively high demand for these videos.

I've got 37 of them, currently uploading to a Google Drive. Around three gigs of videos.

You seem cocky. Why is this?

I've been experimenting on my own for a month now with running this through CrakRevenue on one of their cam offers. What I have currently is a Blogspot site that isn't indexed by Google or anyone, with a URL unrelated to the entertainer. There is no header, background, nothing. Just a blank white page with ~20 90x90 pixel thumbnails that route to the video on Google Drive, available to stream of download.

I've also got a link at the bottom of the page to the webcam offer saying something like "Sign up and search for [NAME] for a free 10 minute show!".

I've dropped around four backlinks on various videos of her that have stayed up, as well as regularly posting the URL to Freeones on an old as fuck account.

Total time spent on the entire thing was MAYBE an hour of actual work. So far in under a month, I've earned $69.40. See below screenshot.

I've also gotten close to 6,000 visits in that same ~25 days. See the below stats from Blogger.

Google isn't really fond of the adult niche, Sherbs.

    I'm well aware. That's why I'm scaling.

How are you going to scale this up and increase your income without breaking the bank?

Well, this performer's name has the following search volume in AdWords over the past 24 months:

That's almost a quarter million exact searches every month. When I Google her name, there are only a little over 500,000 results. I'm going to dominate this search term to the best of my ability, using social and word-of-mouth tactics to increase links, exposure, and traffic. I'm going to replicate my current Blogger domain as best I can with the new videos I am re-uploading, but instead have it on a Wordpress site on my web host, on its own domain and private WhoIs.

    What's your end goal?

As stated in the thread title, I'd like to see $1,000 or more per month by the end of the year.

What have you done thus far in this new part of the project, and what will you do this week?

I just found and bought the exact name match dot-net for $11.50 through Namecheap. Private WhoIs free and everything. I'm going to let these videos upload and grab the sharing links to them, then make thumbnails for each one. Then I'll set up Wordpress on the site and get a good solid minimal theme, and add the thumbnails and links. Then I will add a link or two to a CrakRevenue offer, maybe one pay-per-signup and one pay-per-sale for big money. After that and some pagespeed work, the site will be ready. It's a one-pager, just like my second case study in the works. And I will update weekly, just like my second case study in the works.

After that, it's promotion, promotion, promotion. I'm a stats junkie, so I will be watching carefully using SerpWoo, Google Analytics, and several other tracking systems.

    Wish me luck!

    REVENUE: $69.40
    EXPENSES: $11.50
    TOTAL REVENUE: $57.90

I know I said weekly updates, but I made a good bit of headway on this this morning:

All 37 videos finished uploading to the Google Drive. I changed the name servers on the domain to my Namecheap hosting account, added the domain through my cPanel, and ran an installation of Wordpress on the raw domain. I then did my usual obsessive compulsive routine and removed all sample posts, pages, comments, and default themes. I had a theme called Very Plain Text. I used that. I then deleted Akismet and Hello Dolly and installed the following: Disable Comments, Google Analytics By Yoast, W3 Total Cache, Wordfence Security, WP Smush, and Yoast SEO.

Then I posted an update to the FreeOnes board thread regarding the entertainer with a screenshot teaser with the videos. I posted a link to the Blogspot address instead of the new domain, as I wanted a few days to get it ready before blasting it to the masses.

I had a Twitter account already that I set up a few weeks ago to be ancillary to the blog, so I could just change the URL in there. It has around 271 followers right now and is growing. I followed around 50 additional relevant accounts and left that be, as Twitter was being glitchy at the time.

Then I created a Facebook account and added a screenshot of one of the images of the entertainer with the watermark cropped out. I did the same with a cover photo, and fill out fake basic information. I tested a post on the entertainer?s public figure page on Facebook with a link to the Blogspot address. Then I sent 20 friend requests from people who had posted on that public figure page as well. Get traffic where I cam, right?

My traffic was starting to dwindle, so I had to get these videos posted as soon as possible. I set the sharing settings on Google Drive to ?anyone can see?. Basically made it public to anyone with the link. Then I began the most painstaking part of the process. Some of these videos were grainy. The thumbnails for all of them were subpar. I went through all 37 videos and stopped it at what I thought was the most ?descriptive? part, took a screenshot, renamed it the same as the corresponding video, sized it down to 200x200, and compressed each one, as some of them were over 100kb. This process in total took about an hour, so at this point I was in the hole financially if I factored in my value per hour.

To give you a general idea how well the compression worked, the total size for the 37 images started at 2.7MB. When I was done, the total for all 37 images was 736kb. My Blogspot site visitor count was dwindling, so I went ahead and spent 15 minutes replacing the screenshots on the Blogspot with the newer ones, added my ?ad? to the top in addition to the bottom of 37 thumbnails worth of scrolling, linked them properly to the corresponding video, and saved.

Then I posted an update to the Freeness board for the entertainer with a link to the site, and put a comment on a popular thread in the subreddit dedicated to this entertainer as well. I?ve done that before on other accounts and was shadow banned from the subreddit, however this time instead of posting the direct link, I posted it with ?dot? instead of an actual dot, so it didn?t hyperlink.

Here is how the past 10 days have played out for the Blogspot page, along with revenue from Crakrevenue:

    1/18: 153 views, $0
    1/17: 242 views, $6.25
    1/16: 434 views, $14.35
    1/15: 178 views, $0
    1/14: 268 views, $6.50
    1/13: 180 views, $0
    1/12: 173 views, $2.50
    1/11: 213 views, $0
    1/10: 166 views, $4.50
    1/9: 173 views, $0

Total for Crakrevenue is still $69.40. Hopefully that crosses the $70 (maybe $80?) mark today. My traffic sources for the Blogspot have been 98% Freeness and Twitter as well.

Back at the new Wordpress dot-net, I deleted the widgets for the sidebar on the veryplaintxt theme that showed up when I trashed 90% of the footer code. Then I added a Home page and a Blog page and set the home page as the front page and the blog page as the posts page. Then I added all the 200x200 compressed images to the Media section of the Wordpress site. WP Smush reduced the image data size another 3 to 10% as well.

    REVENUE: $69.40
    EXPENSES: $11.50
    TOTAL REVENUE: $57.90

Another update, because I've got a little free time and want to get this site format down so I can start promoting:

Plugin tweaking begins on the EMD dot-net. I added the Google Analytics code to Yoast, and, being ever wary, also to the header of the website. I added a meta title and description to the home page using Yoast SEO. I configured the caching plugin via WP Beginner?s suggested tutorial, minus the CDN part. Too much effort. Then I disabled comments site wide.

Then I bulk added all the 200x200 images to the home page. There was one that was acting funky, so I just trashed it to make it 36 even. Worked wonderfully, as whether the site shows two, three, or four images across, it will always be an even number of rows with no outliers. I love it when a plan comes together.

Then I found the ExposedWebcams offer and the Sex Messenger offer from CrakRevenue. I added some text at the top of the minimalist home page urging people to sign up for the ExposedWebcams offer (Like $1.50 to $2.00 per signup). At the bottom, I added a ?hard mode? option offering a free chat session. It?s $50 per sale. Who knows, maybe someone will join up! Interestingly enough, even with only ~140 words on the home page, Yoast was green lighting me for all but three categories in their SEO analysis.

Then I painstakingly (it took about ten minutes) linked each of the 36 video thumbnails to the corresponding Google Drive filename for the direct video stream with download option. I spot tested about five of the videos, each one worked perfectly. Then I ran Pingdom Tools speed test just because. Result? 95/100, faster than 94% of all sites tested. Awesome. Desktop version of Pagespeed Insights was rocking a 95/100 as well. Mobile? not so much.

The Reddit comments are still live for the Blogspot, and the Freeones comments haven?t gone anywhere either. Page views today are at 289 as of 2:45pm, compared to 153 yesterday and 242 the day before. I also got a minor commission already off of one impression, so I crossed the $70 mark.

I removed the tagline from the home page to save space and create an even more minimalist feel. I also removed the word Home from the home page. Then I went into the stylesheet and replaced the border-top and border-bottom height to be 0px, which removed them. The site was starting to look super clean now.

    REVENUE: $71.90
    EXPENSES: $11.50
    TOTAL REVENUE: $60.40

Immediately after posting the last update, I added a link to the dot-net to the Freeones thread, and also changed the URL of the Twitter account in the bio section, then made an update regarding it. This was at 3pm, and I was up to 285 followers with under 500 followings. Strongest follow back ratio I?ve ever seen!

Then I edited the Reddit posts to include the dot net (just text, no links) and added a new post on the second most recent thread about the entertainer. That?s all I did yesterday on it.

I woke up this morning and checked the follower count to see it had grown to 306. The dot-net had received 147 hits yesterday, and was already at 28 today. The blog? 379 page views yesterday, and 118 already today.

The best part? Remember how my goal was to hit $80 by this morning? It happened at some point last night. I somehow made $9.50 off four conversions and brought my total to $81.40. Right on.

For the rest of the week, I?m going to make code tweaks to the site to get rid of the godawful blank menu bar, maybe toss up a logo, and promote however possible. I?d love to break $100 by the end of the weekend. We shall see.

    REVENUE: $81.40
    EXPENSES: $11.50
    TOTAL REVENUE: $69.90

    Hi,
Very interesting journey. It seems that the hardest part is finding "entertainer" which videos are on demand. How do you exploit the market for finding these "entertainers"?

I've got two that I'm exploiting. The first is the one in question for the previous posts. I just happened upon a sub-niche that was not being properly catered to, as most got too frustrated with her legal team attacking everything that ever went up. I was far more perseverant, and it's paying off well already.

The second one I got in early and snatched up her exact name Twitter account, and it's been page one for a search of her name since 2011, a term that has gotten 11k exact searches per month.

It's just about doing your research and approaching this from a profitability standpoint versus a horny male standpoint.

Can you share the videos without giving up the entertainer's name?

Just joking, good luck with the journey.

Eventually I said screw it, found an account that had an okay amount of interactions, found their page of followers, scrolled enough to where around 500 or so were showing, and popped in the Javascript trick for Twitter mass following with a time delay until everyone was followed. At this point I was following exactly 920 accounts, and had 310 total followers. This was Wednesday morning around 7am. At 8:30am it was at 329.

So I just so happened to own an exact match Twitter account for a separate adult performer. I?ve owned this account since mid-2011 when she started getting really popular. It?s got around 12K followers, but I think over half of them are bots. Regardless, each post/image I put up has been getting 20-30 likes and a few retweets. I figured I might as well use this to my advantage as well.

Late last night I created a subreddit for this same performer, and was able to get the exact match name for that as well. I put a note with an image on the Twitter saying that if they subscribed and made a post, I would send them a personalized picture. Whatever. This was late last night. I?ve got six subscribers and six total posts, three of which I had made, three from others.

I popped this entertainer?s name into Google?s Keyword Planner to see what kind of traffic it was getting. Keep in mind, this is the performer?s real name, not her ?entertainer? name. It was showing a little over 18,000 average searches per month. There are 245,000 total results in Google for this term as well. The Twitter I had created is spot 10, and the subreddit is already spot 13, so I had a strong hold already. I created an Imgur account (hey, the exact match name isn?t taken!). I also uploaded a single image screenshot from a past video to the subreddit, and cross-posted one of the older images to a subreddit with close to 100k subscribers to see what would happen.

I was getting a good response on the larger Twitter account, so I said screw it again and short linked a CrakRevenue Slut Roulette offer and posted it up on Twitter, saying that the first to find me gets a free 30 minute show. Popped an old cam screenshot up for emphasis.

Back up on the site I?ve been working on, I put a thread up on a very popular message board with some SFW images and a non-linked ?link? to the dot-net site. I had done this the month prior with the Blogspot site and got a nice traffic spike. Maybe the thread will stay up longer than an hour before being deleted this time.

So for organizational purposes, let?s separate these people out into Entertainer1 and Entertainer2. Entertainer1 is the one I started this journey with, with the Blogspot and the dot-net, and where 90% of my current revenue is coming from. Entertainer2 is the one I?ve kept on the back burner for a few years now, watching as it grew. So let?s split this.

    Entertainer1

I checked the Facebook account I had created the day before. 24 friend requests. Cool. Handled those. Checked the email address. Back a couple weeks ago I had put a video on the Blogspot from Google Drive and had forgotten to set the permissions to public. I accidentally did that again yesterday. Total for both those instances, I had 33 people request access, using their email addresses. So I had a little email list built up. I?ll probably do it again by ?accident? in the near future.

Checked the message board thread. Gone. It lasted about a half hour, though, so that?s nice. Checked the Blogger account. Up to 172 views today. The dot-net had just crossed 100. I decided to leave this all be for the rest of the day and pick it up tomorrow. Give it time to marinade without messing with anything.

    Entertainer2

Managed to get the exact match Tumblr account. Leaving that blank for now. Gave the Twitter one last check for the day. Tweet with the Slut Roulette link from an hour ago was at 10 likes and 3 retweets. Two images I had put up around four hours ago were at 17 likes and 5 retweets, and 30 likes and 9 retweets. My tweet about the subreddit from yesterday afternoon was at 27 likes and 5 retweets.

That was enough for the rest of the day. I had a bunch of other eggs in my project basket I needed to attend to.

Closing this thread for the time being. I may come back to it in the future. It was starting to take up too much of my time. My revenues were going upwards, but I don't have the time or energy to grow traffic to a project that is not paying out properly in terms of time to profit.

~$100 for six total hours of work, I was on a slippery slope. I will in all likelihood wait for it to hit $100 then cash out. I'll leave this thread, though, in case I decide to come back to it further down the line when my plate isn't so full.

    Au revoir.
