Carefully improve page 1 ranking

Hey everyone,

I have a website that is very Christmas specific. A couple of months back my site dropped from page 1 to page 5 for my main KW. Since then I have been regularly updating fresh content, used SB to get more backlinks and used a couple of services from BHW such as Angela Paul backlinks.

My site has gradually creeped back up and is now sitting at the bottom of page 1. What I want to know is how would you now proceed with trying to boost it another few places without risking a google dance? This is my most profitable few weeks and I don't want to risk dropping pages again until after Christmas is out of the way.

I had a similar issue. Moving up the positions in page 1 is a lot more trickier. I've made use of High pr Private blog networks (you can look for them in the service threads) + edu backlinks + submitting articles (manually, to 3 - 4 article directories) all targeting on the exact URL that was showing up on the first page.

Took me about a week or two to move from#10 to #6

i'd invest in buying some links from decent niche related sites, including: posts in niche related blogs and 3 way link exchange as well as HIGH QUALITY and MANUAL blog comments on HIGH QUALITY related pages (with minimal OBLs), forum posts in same niche sites and quality articles to quality sites.
